I offer a range of professional services and give expert advice within the educational environment to both schools and families. As the Head, I worked hard on all levels to improve processes, approaches, and policies. I developed teaching and learning as a key focus, whilst also working on the environment. This included building developments, restructures, HR issues, staff development, team building, safeguarding, marketing and publicity from compliments to complaints.

SIP – Packages
These range from 3 – 7 days, depending on the school’s need.
One core termly visit focused on school improvement, outcomes, and self-evaluation. This day includes preparation and reports writing. (3)
Termly half-day contact, either face-to-face or virtual. (3)
One Day SIP support for Headteacher Performance Management. (1)
Two days of SIP support for new to headship where applicable.
Additional time to be negotiated.
In these visits, I will support and challenge schools (including governors).

Heads Induction
I understand the value of new headteacher induction to
ensure you quickly become familiar with partnership arrangements, school services, support structures, procedures, key contacts, and personnel within your
local Authority. As a new headteacher, you will receive a complete package of support to help develop leadership skills and knowledge that will enable you to transition into the role effectively in your first year of headship.
Transition Support
Supporting teams and individuals during change and
transition. Many people fear change, but I learnt that it brings new possibilities and opportunities. I have spent many years working with my staff to approach change without fear and embrace it. I can work with your team to develop a
positive attitude to change.
Supporting governors
Assisting them to understand their role and how to be effective in the job. To understand their key responsibilities and know what to expect from an Ofsted inspection.
School improvement visits
I will work with you as your School Improvement
Partner to agree on the current priorities for improvement, assist you in identifying areas of strength to be celebrated and identify areas for further improvement. Chair meetings with the head and leadership team to review and plan forward. As an experienced primary ex-headteacher, I understand the headteacher role and the difference a high-quality school improvement partner provision can bring.

Ways of working’ sessions with teams
This could take the form of a series
of meetings with the Headteacher and leadership team, including the governors
if desired, as part of the time or a full-day workshop.
Headteacher appraisal
This provides an external adviser to fulfil the statutory
requirements of the Headteacher Appraisal process to assist Governors through the process. The Governors are provided with an appraisal handbook and pay advice, and are supported to ensure the process is robust and meets the school’s
needs.
Supporting parents
I have spent many years witnessing parents’ difficulties
when choosing primary or secondary schools. I offer a service that helps parents and carers feel they have some clarity in selecting a primary or secondary school, putting in applications and assisting with how to help their child’s
transfer.
